Don't Fear the Scale This Season

If you've already developed holiday-scale-phobia, it's time to be brave and weigh in several times between Thanksgiving and New Year's. A study found that people who assessed their weight before and after holidays were more motivated to eat healthy and exercise between the end of November and January 1st.
